381 new species found in Amazon

The researchers found 381 new species found in the world's largest rainforest study in a two-year period.
The study, conducted by the World Wildlife Conservation Organization (WWF) and the Mamirawa Institute for Sustainable Development of Brazil, the top wildlife conservation organization, said two years of research found two species of new species every two days.
However, the researchers warned that new species of newly discovered animals and plants have been found in areas where biodiversity is threatened due to human activity.
Prior to 1999, until 2015, more than two thousand new species were found in the Amazon.
