Nilkuthi historic Amjapi of Meherpur witnessed the silence of many events

 Historical Amjapi Nilkuthi and Amarkan's tourist centers in Meharpur district, which were built during British rule, were lost day by day. The stalks of Kuthibari are being stolen.It is known that this Kuthibari was one of the leading business centers of British Benoni. On one hand, the indigenous farmers of West Bengal, along with Meherpur, were once scared of the indigo traders of the East India Company. Today there is no British Empire. The East India Company. There is no cottage in the landlord house. But as a silent witness about the exploitation-deprivation, torture and conspiracy memory, standing in the Meherpur's Amjhappy Nilkuthi house. The wood that was used on the hallroom floor is no longer there. The rest of the cells carry memories of British era.On the right side of the main building is a beautiful house to keep the kabutara. It is reported that the British used to use pigeons as a means of communication. Pigeon help was used to exchange correspondence from this room to other rooms. On the right side of the house is the blue warehouse. Here the blue processing was done and from there it was sent to Calcutta and Calicut Port. Stables on the right side of the main building and at the end of the house. There are no longer horses. Population has grownAccording to the Kuthibari architectural design, there is a message that there was a tunnel from the bedroom floor of the main building to the adjacent river. After the torture and torture of the indigenous farmers, they were abducted on the tunnel.It is reported that in this Nilkuthi house, Robert Clive and Mir Jafar made a plan to expel the last independent Nawab of Siraj-ud-Daula. Again, 218 years later, the government of Bangladesh was formed on April 17, 1971 in order to conduct the armed struggle of the Bengali people, in Amarkan, Baidyanathtal, a few kilometers away from Kuthibari.On 13 May 1978, the Khulna Development Authority's Amzupi Conference was held as a tourist center in Amjhappy Kuthibari. On March 26, 1979, Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, the then Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia, expressed his hope for the project and set a memorabilia.
