Air India suspends 3 staff members due to delay of Flight:

It so happened that among the passengers to be boarded in the delayed Air India flight AI459 from Delhi to Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, was Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapati Raju. The flight got delayed by 1.5 hours which has created Chaos.

The passengers waiting for the flight became restless and circled around Raju, who immediately called out for Air India CMD. A passenger told that after some time, some passengers got agitated and went to the business section of the plane where they found the cockpit door open and only one pilot in it, which made them furious.

The CMD of Air India has reportedly called a meeting of top officials to discuss the matter at hand. Air India spokesperson GP Rao stated that three staffers were suspended and a warning was issued to the captain, who reportedly arrived 15 minutes late to the airport.

The cause of the delay was due to low visibility levels in Vijayawada, and the AI operations wanted to figure out before take-off..
