Kadamtali Police Station OC Abdul Jalil said that relatives found hanging in the abandoned tin house at one stage of search of the child. The child's father, Rezaul Karim, said the play group student at Ruhui Matualal's ICMS School. She returned to school at 11:30 am yesterday. The boy went to play down at 12 noon without informing his mother Sanjida. At around 12:30 pm, Sanjida told her (Rezaul) phone that her daughter could not be found. When Sanjida came down from the house, she looked around with the help of neighbors. At around noon, neighbors saw the child hanging in the tin-shed house and hanging in the neck.

After receiving the news, the body was recovered from the hospital and sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for autopsy. The doctor also examined whether the child had been sexually assaulted before the murder.
