Turkey has expressed interest to build shelters for refugees in Bangladesh for one hundred thousand Rohingya refugees.
Today, on Sunday morning, meeting with Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury told this interest, coordinator of the International Relations and Cooperation Coordinator in Turkey, Ahmed Rafiq.
During the meeting with Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury, Ahmed Rafiq talked about bilateral issues including Rohingya.
The Turkish government representative hopes to solve the problem of Rohingya torture by referring to the issue of torture as 'inhuman'.
Ahmed Rafiq Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury said that Bangladesh has given shelter to Rohingyas of Myanmar due to humanitarian reasons. Relief Minister informed the Turkish government's representative about the attitude and position of Bangladesh government with the Rohingyas.
Turkey's representative told the relief minister that Turkey will be beside Bangladesh for a proper solution to the Rohingya problem. Turkey will build a shelter for 100,000 Rohingyas coming to Bangladesh Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury and Ahmed Rafiq also discussed the place to build Rohingyas shelters.
