Nawaz is going to take charge as the head of the Muslim League

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is going to take over as the head of Muslim League in the wake of the bill passed by the Senate High Court. The bill passed in the Senate only by a vote.

 The Constitutional Amendment Bill 2017 was passed by amending the Article 203 of the Constitution of Pakistan on Friday. Bills voted in favor of 38 senators and 37 voters. 

 Interestingly, the idea of ​​raising the bill was that the opposition PPP's Party (PPP) senator, Etaj Ahsan, Before the amendment it was said in paragraph 203 that no person can be head of any political party except a member of the National Assembly.

 Earlier, last week the lower house of the Pakistan Parliament approved the bill. The new bill says that except for government officials and employees, any citizen of the country has the right to be a member of the political party. On July 28, Pakistan Supreme Court declared Nawaz Sharif disqualified in the Panamanian case. Because of that verdict, Nawaz Sharif also lost his ability to serve as head of the party.
